In November of 2009 I returned stateside from 12-month tour in Afghanistan. While I was there, I passed my original ETS date and was put on stoploss until we arrived home. Upon returning to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, I was sent through a 7-day reintegration process which dealt with paperwork, assignments, distribution of belongings, and getting the company reorganized for daily work. Once that process was completed, I was able to sign out on terminal leave and begin out-processing the Army. In a matter of 1 week, I went from a combat environment and all of the things that entails to a civilian person looking for a house and job with the expectation of leading a "normal" life. Needless to say, it was not an easy transition. 

Fast forward to 2024, and God has begun a ministry leading veterans through this rough time in life. It is not an easy time, and it requires a lot of patience, discussion, and guidance but it's guidance that I wish I had when I got out. I have started to upload videos to my YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/v2v-ministries) as a basic guide to who Jesus is and the basics of Christianity. As one could imagine, the cost of ministry is not only someone's time but also their finances. I have been doing all of the ministry work from my own finances. Yes, I do believe that the Lord will take care of the needs of my family but if the Lord leads you to give a small donation, please be obedient to that leading.
